Nylon Polyamide Webbing

Nylon strap, also known as polyamide strap (PA), is a widely used alternative to polypropylene strap. In terms of material, Nylon polyamide webbing is stronger than polypropylene so a thinner webbing still has the same or higher breaking strength than polypropylene webbing.

But breaking strength is not the only reason Nylon bag strap is used. StrapRyte® keeps a Nylon Polyamide strap in stock with a thickness of approximately 0.8/0.9 mm. A pleasantly flexible yet strong Nylon belt that can be used as a bag belt, coupling belt, parachute belt, but can also sometimes be used for finishing products.

Properties of Nylon Polyamide Tape

StrapRyte® Nylon Polyamide strap has a thickness of approximately 0.8 – 0.9mm
This band is available from stock in 7 widths: 10mm, 15mm, 20mm, 25mm, 30mm, 40mm and 50mm in various colors

Nylon Polyamide strap can be washed up to 40 degrees.

As already indicated, Nylon has a higher breaking strength than Polypropylene. Below you will find an indication of the breaking strength of the widths
